Lifetime warranty

At Gayle Cáit, we’re passionate about the jewellery we create, and we believe in its lasting beauty and quality. That’s why we’re proud to offer a Lifetime Warranty on all our pieces – a reflection of our commitment to you and the craftsmanship behind every design.

What’s covered

Our warranty covers any issues caused by defects in craftsmanship, including:

  • Faulty craftsmanship: If your jewellery shows signs of structural failure due to manufacturing, we’ll take care of it.
  • Loose gemstones: If a gemstone becomes loose or falls out due to a flaw in its setting, we’ll make it right.
  • Broken clasps or chains: If a clasp, chain, or any fastening breaks as a result of a manufacturing defect, we’ll repair or replace it.

What’s not covered

Our warranty doesn’t cover:

  • Normal wear and tear: Jewellery is meant to be worn and enjoyed, but over time, pieces will show the signs of being loved. This includes things like scratches, dents, or marks from regular use.
  • Damage from accidents or misuse: We always encourage care, but if your jewellery is subject to damage from an accident or improper use, it won’t be covered.
  • Exposure to harsh conditions: Things like chemicals, extreme temperatures, or rough handling can affect your jewellery over time.
  • Repairs by others: Any repairs or alterations made by someone other than Gayle Cait will not be covered under this warranty.

How to make a claim

If you believe your piece has a defect and wish to make a claim, we’re here to help. Simply send us an email at hello@gaylecait.com with:

  • A description of the issue and photos of the jewellery.
  • Your order number or proof of purchase.

Once we receive your claim, we’ll assess the issue and guide you through the return process. If it’s covered by the warranty, we’ll repair or replace your piece at no extra cost.

Repairs outside of warranty

If your jewellery requires a repair that falls outside the warranty, we’ll be happy to help. We offer repairs at reasonable rates and will always provide an estimate before any work begins.
